Project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements.

Project management is accomplished through the appropriate application of the 47 project management processes categorized into five process groups: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Controlling and Closing.

This course is a unique experience to understand and experiment these processes. It will provide key practical knowledge for managers to help them to review project plans and project execution reports.

This course provides managers practical knowledge to allow them to plan projects and to control project execution. It provides also a learning experience in order to make students accept and retain the principal ideas and the philosophy behind.

It is also an illustration of the project in its internal environment, describing the Project Management Life Cycle in terms of human resources management and process’s organization.

At the end of the course, students are expected:

  1. To retain the most important academic knowledge and the main idea of the project management
  2. To acquire tools and frame document that they could use to make decisions in their future projects
  3. To take pleasure with the serious game and to appreciate this learning experience
