Finalité

The course aims to provide students with in depth understanding of conventional and emerging perceptions of risk, crisis management and resilience at work.

It addresses the range of traditional issues within risk and crisis management as well as multi-disciplinary perspectives. It explores risk behavior in organizational and societal contexts: issues of sustainability, environmental debates, health and safety concerns

 

Compétences visées

Skills to be acquired:

  • Ability to identify and describe the interdependency of risks related issues and consequences on health matters within an organization
  • Ability to evaluate critically the organization's impacts of health matters in and out the work context, enlightened by corporate social responsibility (CSR) principles
  • Ability to interpret findings and draw appropriate actions plans
